Ableton Drone Template
Oscar’s drone session for Ableton Live 12: the drone portion of his full Ableton Template, pulled out as its own project. Hold a continuous, evolving drone bed under a set using instruments and effects built entirely from Ableton’s stock devices — Simpler, EQ Eight, Reverb, Echo, Auto Filter, and Glue Compressor.
What's Included
- Ableton Live 12 project file with four drone tracks (Drone, Piano Reverse Drone, Drone 1, Drone 2) routed to a main bus
- Sampled drone instruments built in Ableton’s Simpler, ready to play from any MIDI keyboard
- The recorded and processed WAV samples (48 kHz) that power each instrument, including printed drone bounces and a reverse piano bed
- Prebuilt effect chains and bus processing so the drone sits under pads and piano without extra mixing
- Two reference bounces of the drone, dry and with effects
Why You'll Love It
- Pull up a key and hold a drone under intros, transitions, and prayer moments without programming a synth patch
- The core sound runs on stock Ableton devices, so it opens on a plain Live 12 install
- Drop the tracks into your own set, or use it as the starting point before stepping up to Oscar’s full Ableton Template
